Sunday the 29th OF September is the beginning of the difficult period before the start of the 2025 AFL season for many diehard footy fans and the day I'm hosting a Hospital Research Fire Up event to raise money for life-changing men's health research.

Unfortunately, like me, most men don't have a very good track record when it comes to talking about their health. But a good barbie tends to loosen tongues and open ears hence my NO FOOTY BBQ to get people talking about this issue which affects far too many families.

When I hosted my first barbie to raise funds for men's health, I never expected to get the incredible feedback from the men and women who attended, and we believe this year will be even better. So, if for no other reason come along just to enjoy some incredible food, friendly banter, and be amongst others who will be displaying the early stages of footy withdrawal syndrome.
